I finished my bag and I'm madly in love with it! I don't make bags too often (used to sell them on ebay, permanently burned out now) so I took care to do it right in case I end up carrying this one around for over a year like I did with the last one (which is going in the wash today).
Here it is in an action shot (see the water?).
Other side (handy dandy pocket). Birds and butterflies.
The best part of any good bag....well placed pockets!! Flannel pocket for my sunglasses, skinny pockets for pens, granny glasses, etc, and regular pockets for chewing gum, business cards, stuff like that. Oh and best of all the Joey pocket (named for it's inventor of course!) for my cell phone. Snap it shut and I'm good to go!
And here's another "playing with my new camera" shot. I'm figuring out the whole "blurry background" setting. I think it will come in handy because now I can blur out my laundry piles, dirty dishes, nose picking kids, etc. Great invention! And isn't this cute?
One more week until Quilt Market!! It's supposed to rain so I'm going shopping today for something with sleeves and maybe some shoes that aren't flip-flops. I'm not super crazy about shopping for clothes so wish me luck!
